How refunds work.
Applying costs 100 tokens. If the role turns out to be a good fit, you get tokens back. The rule is short, and it has a few details worth knowing.
You apply, and 100 tokens leave your account.
The tokens go when your application is sent. If you do not have 100, nothing is sent and nothing is charged.
The first read runs.
Vibly reads your answers, what you declared and the profile sections you left on, and compares them with what the employer asked for. Only this first read decides your refund.
The refund arrives when the read finishes.
It appears in your token history as a promotional credit for that application.
What comes back.
By the result of the first read.
- 100Match. Everything comes back.
- 50Maybe. Half comes back.
- 0No match. Nothing comes back.
- 100The read fails or cannot be completed. Everything comes back, whatever the reason.

| You withdraw your application | The 100 tokens are not returned. |
| You apply and the role is closed afterwards | Your refund still follows the first read. |
| You earn the refund late in the month | It expires at the end of that month, India time, like your free tokens. |
Does a No match mean I did something wrong?
No. It means the first read found less matching evidence for this role. The same application can read differently against another role, and a fuller profile gives the read more to go on.
Why does applying cost tokens at all?
So that an application means something. Tokens come back when the fit is good, which rewards the careful application and makes the hopeful one cost a little. Employers read fewer applications that were never meant for them.
Does the employer see my refund?
No. The employer sees the first read and the evidence. Your tokens are your own business.
Do I earn XP if I get no refund?
Yes. Every valid application earns XP whatever the result.
What does an employer pay?
Posting a role costs 100 tokens, once. It is not refunded, and changes to the same listing are free. See the full token model.
